RALLY AGAINST FEMALE FOETICIDE

Female Foeticide is a heinous crime which plagues our society today . The drop in the sex  ratio is alarming .  Creating awareness among people especially  the youth is the need of the hour. Students of our school participated in a rally against female foeticide organized by Jain shwetamber terapanth mahila mandal   on 7th march  2009. The student walk with the procession  holding banner and urging the people to stand together and raise their voice against female foeticide .

    To stop this problem all should vote for conress as it is awarding every1 1lakh rupees to every1 who has only one girl child.congress is also promoting initiatives such as uricc.and we should also make people aware of sex ratio.our school along with uricc are making good effort to promote it.

    Though govt. has made saome laws against female infanticide but it is of no use if the mindset of people isn’t changed and they aren’t made aware of this issue…
    Its very good to see our school contributing in eliminating the problem of female foeticide…Proud to be a Salwaninan!!!

    we definitely got to do something about the declining sex ratio which is hindering the development of our country and i’m proud that my school has taken a step in the right direction….

    IN TODAYS WORLD GENDER BIAS HAS DEEPLY ROOTED IN A WOMEN’S PSYCHE …..FEMALE FEOTICIDE/INFANTICIDE BEING ONE OF THE MAJOR REASONS ! I AM REALLY GLAD TO SEE THAT REVOLUTIONS ARE BEING BROUGHT BY TAKING TINY STEPS …AND YES ONE DAY WE WILL DO IT!!WE ALL ARE EQUAL WE’LL PROVE IT !!

    ITS JUST SO SHAMEFUL AND HUMILIATING THAT ON ONE SIDE WE PROUDLY BOAST ABOUT BEING A PART OF THE 21ST CENTURY-WITH UNBELIEVABLE ACHIEVEMENTS IN SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY WHILE ON OTHER HAND WE DO NOT CARE TO CHANGE OUR MINDSET TOWARDS THE RUTHELESS -GENDER DISCRIMINATION.WHY ARE THE GIRLS CONSIDERED INFERIOR TO BOYS?????
    SALWANIANS HAVE TAKEN A STEP FORWARD TO BRING ABOUT A CHANGE, AND WE’LL DEFINITELY ACHIEVE THIS AIM.
